Andechser Hof in Herrsching am Ammersee

Have on Friday the 13.11. Picked up the lunch special 3 times and were unfortunately very disappointed. The risotto with salmon was not seasoned, the rice was rather a rice pudding instead of risotto and the salmon dry and carelessly sprinkled over it. I would like to support the local gastronomy, but not like this. We wish you continued success in these difficult times.

Have eaten there several times. Food and drinks are recommended. Friendly staff, prices are okay.

We love to visit the restaurant again and again: the service was always very courteous and attentive, very good cuisine with always high-quality ingredients!

Wow I rarely give it a convincing 5 stars but I can't help it here. Everything was great from arrival to departure, a beautiful hotel which I can only recommend, very friendly staff and an absolutely great location. A few minutes from the lake. Great ambience to relax and enjoy, with lovely details. Implemented absolutely coherently. Cleanliness top ... And yes, unfortunately, Corona hygiene measures have been implemented topically at the present time. Despite conditions and regulations, you can feel comfortable and relax here.

A very nice place to stay with large, clean rooms, a friendly staff and a homely feel to it, but the breakfast lets it down. A very small selection, and there is nothing to keep some of the dairy products refrigerated. If you come down at 9 you can look forward to cheese that has been sitting out in room temperature for two hours. Because of this, I gave it 3 stars.

What a lovely place this is. Across the road from the train station. Attended a company evening event. The lounge area is such a lovely place to relax and unwind with a drink. The restaurant food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend coming here to eat and enjoy your evening. Hopefully I will be back here again the next time I visit Germany.

The food was fantastic and really tasty! The atmosphere inside is more trendy than perhaps Bavarian but this is certainly made up for by the menu which is slim but well put together. I would recommend this place if you have the money and for a special occasion, it definitely isnt a pretzel and roast chicken establishment! I had wild pig and the meat melted in the mouth, the sauce was delicious and accompanying potatoes crisp yet buttery in the centre. The table service was polite and quick. A smile can be something of a rarity in these parts but he was friendly.

Staff was nice and friendly. Bed was too soft for me personally. The decor of the room was rustic and a bit old.

A really nice little hotel with beautiful rooms that show a lot of love in detail ... super clean and incredibly friendly staff ... the whole house is like a large living room ... I have not felt so comfortable for a long time ... is that second hotel of three in this week where I stay ... I was here for three nights only drawback for such a rustic modern house .. the breakfast is very very sparse ... what I don't like at all are pre-cut cold cuts and cheese were the fruit is also cut the day before ... except for pre-cooked eggs which had three different levels of hardness in three days there were neither scrambled eggs nor omelets ... there is really still watering down potential ... Otherwise great

Review restaurant. Very good food at reasonable prices. King Ludwig Weissbier. Nice service and cozy upscale atmosphere. Tagiatelle with beef fillet stripes and cheese noodles were very good.

We had a great three nights in Herrsching! The rooms are furnished with attention to detail and have been newly renovated. The sauna area including the swimming pool is also new and really nice. The breakfast is rich and varied. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great. Directly opposite is the Herrsching train station, from which you can take the S8 directly to Munich (50 minutes to Munich HBF). It is about a 3-minute walk to the lake. All in all a very recommendable hotel!

A beautiful Bavarian restaurant - attentive service - quality very good - large menu - large portions !! So who pays attention to the line or seniors - small portion! The only downside .. the prices have tidy dressed ... Too bad - slows down the order! Well accessible MVV - not far to the lake

Herrsching is a lovely place in the summer with a good and cozy atmosphere. Take a boat trip around the lake - highly recommended. The hotel Andechser Hof is located right by the train station and just 5 minutes from the water. So good location. We were there for the hottest period - so there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was also a bit boring, but otherwise a nice cozy hotel.

Good food, excellent service and chilled vibe.

The hotel is confortable, the furniture is very peculiar and elegant. There is also a sauna (included in room cost) and The staff is professional.
